Richard Tweed is a Partner at Clifton Ingram and specialises in commercial real estate, with particular expertise in property development, strategic land transactions and property finance. He has broad experience advising developers, landowners, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants on a wide range of commercial property matters

Richard acts for developers, landowners, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, property finance, portfolio management and option and promotion agreements. He has considerable experience advising on development projects, acting for both developers and landowners, as well as supporting lenders and borrowers on secured lending and development finance transactions.

Known for his practical and commercial approach, Richard works closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide clear, tailored advice that helps transactions progress smoothly and efficiently. His experience spans a wide range of sectors and includes advising on complex, high-value property transactions and development opportunities.

Richard graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in Law and Philosophy in 2009 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice in 2010.
