Jonathan Foulds
Jonathan Foulds is the Managing Partner of Clifton Ingram LLP and Head of the firm's Commercial Property team. With over 20 years' experience, he advises businesses, developers, investors, landlords and tenants on a broad range of commercial property matters, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to his clients’ objectives.
Jonathan's expertise spans all aspects of commercial property law, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, investment and portfolio management, property finance, and residential development. He acts for a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses and property investors to developers and national companies.
He regularly advises on office, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments, as well as the property aspects of corporate acquisitions, disposals and business restructures. Jonathan is particularly experienced in managing complex transactions with demanding timescales, helping clients navigate challenges while ensuring deals progress efficiently and effectively.
Known for his practical approach and strong commercial awareness, Jonathan works closely with clients and professional advisers to deliver clear, solution-focused advice and achieve successful outcomes. His ability to combine technical expertise with an understanding of clients' broader business objectives has helped him build longstanding relationships throughout the Thames Valley and beyond.
In addition to his client work, Jonathan leads the strategic direction and management of Clifton Ingram LLP, working with colleagues across the firm to maintain the highest standards of client service while supporting the firm's continued growth and development.
Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He holds a degree in Geography from the University of Exeter and completed both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Exeter.
Jonathan is based across Clifton Ingram's Wokingham, Reading and Farnham offices.
