Gaye King

Gaye King is a Senior Associate at Clifton Ingram and specialises in commercial property matters, with particular expertise in landlord and tenant work. With over 20 years' experience, she advises a broad range of clients including developers, investors, landlords, tenants and business owners on all aspects of commercial real estate.

Gaye's practice encompasses acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, portfolio management, lease renewals, secured lending transactions and property support on corporate matters. She is known for her practical, commercially focused approach and works closely with clients to deliver clear advice and efficient solutions to complex property issues.

Her extensive experience has been gained across a variety of settings, including international and leading regional law firms, as well as an in-house role with a major UK self-storage business. This breadth of experience gives her a valuable understanding of the commercial pressures facing clients and enables her to provide advice that is both strategic and pragmatic.

Gaye joined Clifton Ingram from Field Seymour Parkes and is part of a highly regarded commercial property team that advises on a wide range of transactions, including investment properties, development projects, secured lending arrangements and corporate property matters.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from London Metropolitan University, completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 1996 and subsequently gained a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Wolverhampton. Gaye qualified as a solicitor in 2001.

Based in the firm's Wokingham office, Gaye works with clients across the South East and throughout the UK, providing commercially minded advice tailored to their individual objectives.
