Freya Shailes is a Solicitor in Clifton Ingram’s Commercial Property team, advising clients on a broad range of commercial, agricultural matters and corporate property work.
Freya has experience advising on all aspects of commercial real estate, acting for a variety of clients, including developers, landowners, farming partnerships, investors, and business owners.
Her recent work has included advising on the sale of a former public house with residential development potential, involving planning agreements, community infrastructure levy considerations, leaseback arrangements and title issues including a flying freehold.
She is currently acting on the acquisition of a substantial agricultural holding in Oxfordshire, which involves advising on options for future development opportunities, rights of way, restrictive covenants, biodiversity net gain and solar.
Freya is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and appreciates the importance of providing a service to clients that reflect the values of the rural community. Freya is known for her thorough approach and attention to detail, helping clients navigate complex transactions and achieve their commercial objectives.
