Daniel York

Daniel is a highly experienced commercial property lawyer with more than 20 years' experience advising landlords, tenants, investors, developers, lenders and business owners on a wide range of property transactions. Known for his practical advice and commercial approach, he helps clients navigate complex matters with confidence, delivering clear solutions that support their business and property objectives.

Daniel has particular expertise in landlord and tenant matters, regularly advising on the negotiation and completion of new leases, lease renewals, assignments, underletting’s and surrenders. His extensive knowledge of the commercial property market enables him to guide clients through complex transactions efficiently and effectively while delivering a high standard of client service.

In addition to his commercial property work, Daniel advises on the acquisition and disposal of both commercial and residential property. His broad experience allows him to support clients across a diverse range of transactions, from investment purchases and development projects to corporate property matters.

Daniel also has a strong reputation in secured lending and property finance. He acts for both lenders and borrowers on high-value and complex transactions, including multi-million-pound refinancing arrangements, development finance facilities and investment property acquisitions. His experience in leading negotiations and managing the legal aspects of secured lending transactions ensures that clients receive clear, pragmatic advice throughout the process.
