Laura Simpson

Laura Simpson is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution team with a strong focus on residential landlord and tenant matters. She advises on a wide range of disputes, with particular experience in contentious possession work, including rent arrears, breaches of tenancy agreements and recovery of residential property.

Laura also handles statutory lease extensions, long leasehold disputes and deposit disputes, providing clear, practical guidance tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Laura joined PainSmith in 2016 as a Paralegal, commenced her training contract in 2017, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019.

She holds an LLB in Law with Business from the University of Portsmouth (2013) and completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2016.
