We have a wide experience in advising farmers, agri-businesses, land owners and landed estates on a wide range of rural issues including freehold sale and purchases and tenancies of farms, small holdings, equine and other agri-businesses, as well as advising these businesses on commercial agreements, employment and litigation.
We can offer practical advice and guidance on all of the following;
- the sale and purchase of farms and all categories of agricultural land
- drafting of contractual clauses in farm sale contracts and agricultural leases providing for the transfer and leasing of SFP Entitlements and Replacement Entitlements in various circumstances and with or without land
- acting for both landlords and tenants of farm business tenancies in drawing up tenancy agreements and advising in relation to tenant right matters, redundant buildings and other terms including rent reviews, security of tenure, repairing and insuring obligations of each party
- acting for a landowner in the granting of easements over his land to utility companies in relation to water, electricity, telecommunications and similar service
