Employment Contracts

If you have accepted a job offer you are likely to be presented with a Contract of Employment either before or after you start your new job. Alternatively, you might already be in a job and be presented with a fresh contract with new or changed terms. Some of these may be acceptable to you, some not.

If, when you are asked to sign a contract or a new contract, you are unhappy or unclear about some of the terms, what are you going to do? You may feel reluctant to raise the matter with your Employer (especially a new one) or you may not know where you stand.

Our Employment team here can advise you on any Contract Terms you do not feel comfortable with and the best way of raising the subject with your Employer, whether informally or formally.
