Clifton Ingram LLP has expanded its presence in the Thames Valley by opening new offices in Reading town centre.
The move will play a vital role in its strategic plans to extend its broad range of services for both businesses and individuals to a wider client base. More significantly however, Clifton Ingram’s experienced commercial solicitors will be able to offer these specialist services at the smart new Reading premises at County House, 17 Friar Street, Reading as well as in Wokingham.
Commenting on the expansion Ian Graham, managing partner at Clifton Ingram said ‘as one of the established law firms in the Thames Valley the additional office will allow us to offer a broader range of professional services throughout the area. We look forward to developing our relationships with the wider local and regional community’.
In conjunction with the opening of the new office Clifton Ingram will acquire the well established Reading law firm, Sarjeant and Sheppard. Sarjeant and Sheppard’s senior partner Hugh Lacey added ‘this is a very positive step. We have a strong tradition of providing high quality legal advice as do Clifton Ingram and our clients will benefit from the extensive range of professional services offered by Clifton Ingram from a more accessible and comfortable new office. We see a bright future for the combined practices’.
Following the merger on 1 August the firm will have more than 35 legal professionals across its two offices.
